For every question they answer correctly, they gain seconds that tick away during the time the questions are asked. There are several different rounds, for example, a puzzle round and a round with pictures about a certain topic. The two people with the least amount of seconds go into the final round, in which each question answered correctly reduces the amount of seconds of the opponent. The finalist that has no seconds left loses and can not return to the next episode. In the final week the best players compete against each other and "the smartest person" wins.
