The third and final part of the 'Trumptonshire Trilogy' is set in the industrial hamlet of Chigley near Camberwick Green. Each episode tells the story of a local but also feature characters from the previous two series.

    Lord Belborough's SecretDr Mopp goes to the Chigley Pottery to buy a vase for his sister. Lord Belborough arrives on his steam engine Bessie to take a crate of pottery to Treddles Wharf where he collects a mysterious crate. What could it contain?
  • Bessie To The Rescue

    Bessie To The RescueWhen Farmer Bell delivers some produce to the Chigley biscuit factory he finds that a box of biscuits meant for delivery has been left behind. Bell gives them to Lord Belborough to take to Treddles Wharf on his train Bessie.

    The BalloonThe Mayor of Trumpton visits Lord Belborough and asks him for fund-raising ideas for the Old People's Holiday Fund. When Lord Belborough has to go to the Pottery he gives Winnie a ride on Bessie. Her balloon gives him an idea.
  • The Fountain

    The FountainAt Chigley Pottery, Mr Farthing tells P.C. McGarry that there is not much demand for stone sculptures these days. When McGarry visits the biscuit factory he suggests to Mr Cresswell that a stone fountain would look nice.

    The Garden WallWhen Lord Belborough takes delivery of a new lawnmower he accidentally sends it crashing into his garden wall. He asks Mr Clutterbuck, the builder, to come and rebuild it. But a delivery of bricks is waiting at Treddles Wharf.
  • Binnie And Bessie

    Binnie And BessieChimney sweep Roger Varley comes to Winkstead Hall to help clean Bessie the steam engine and Binnie the pumping engine. But the hall has run out of coal so they have to go in Bessie to Treddles Wharf to pick up a load of coal.
  • Lord Belborough's Lucky Day

    Lord Belborough's Lucky DayThomas Tripp is delivering milk to Winkstead Hall, and while talking to Brackett they discover that because Lord Belborough's birthday is in February then today is his lucky day. Later, Lord Belborough is telling Brackett about his antique vase, (and that he is looking for another to make a pair) when he accidentally drops it, smashing it into pieces. When the dustmen arrive they empty the Winkstead Hall bins and take away the vase fragments.
  • The Broken Bridge

    The Broken BridgeMr Carraway the fishmonger delivers to the canteen at the biscuit factory when P.C. McGarry comes to tell him that the Chigley bridge has been closed. The soldiers of Pippin Fort have a temporary bridge at Treddles Wharf though.

    Clay For Mr FarthingThe telephone engineers come to fix the phone at Chigley Pottery. They tell Mr Farthing that a lot of clay was dug out when the new telephone exchange was being built. He can have it for free but how to get it to the Pottery?

    Trouble With The CraneAt Treddles Wharf a crate of antique books for Lord Belborough is being unloaded from Mr Rumpling's boat and a crate of Farmer Bell's scrap metal loaded but when the crane breaks and drops a crate in the canal, which is it?
  • Apples Galore

    Apples GaloreWhen the Winkstead orchard has a bumper crop of apples, Windy Miller suggests they turn them into apple juice using his cider press. The fire brigade pick the apples and Jonathan Bell loads them onto Bessie with the aid of his forklift loader. Then Lord Belborough takes them to Windy's barn (just below the mill) and with the help of the biscuit factory workers they are pressed and barrelled in time to be taken to the six o'-clock dance.
  • Willie Munn

    Willie MunnMr. Clamp takes some stock to the Chigley biscuit factory for the staff canteen. While there, he asks Mr Cresswell (the biscuit factory owner) how his nephew Willie Munn is doing. Mr Cresswell takes Mr Clamp to see Willie who works on the biscuit stamper.
  • A Present For Lord Belborough

    A Present For Lord BelboroughMr Antonio the ice cream man is making a delivery to Winkstead Hall. He gets chatting to Mr Bilton the gardener who is not feeling well. Antonio helps him by mowing the lawn. Lord Belborough would like to get a motor mower for him.
