Daniel Garcés Najar

Daniel “El Gato” Garcés Najar was born in Bogotá. He began his musical studies at the Luis A. Calvo Academy, where he also started playing the bandola, tiple, and guitar. After completing his secondary education, he pursued studies in jazz guitar performance at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where he discovered his passion for sound design. This led him to specialize in sound engineering. In 2003, he graduated with a degree in Music, with an emphasis in Sound Engineering, and since then he has dedicated his career to sound direction and design for film and television.
