Mød Clarence, Elvis-fan, kung-fu filmekspert og han sælger tegneserier, mød så Alabama, nybegynder i luderbranchen. De støder sammen i en regn af popcorn i biografen og der opstår umiddelbart sand kærlighed. De gifter sig med det samme, og Clarence giver Alabama en sød morgengave - han nakker hendes alfons! Og får en taske fyldt med kokain med i ved en fejltagelse... Med mafiaen i hælene flygter de i en lyserød cadillac mod Hollywood, hvor en ven af Clarence måske kan skaffe dem af med stofferne.     How can you not love this movie? Memorable scenes and quotes. Great cast. It's Thelma & Louise meets Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It's more an experience than a movie.

    A perfect marriage of both Tony Scott and Tarantino. Both styles are there while neither is taking over or really overbearing. I honestly cant see any other actors in the leads as well as many of the other roles. So they nailed it. Sometimes we all feel a bit like Patricia Arquette killing James Gandolfini.

    A team-up between Tarantino and Tony Scott was bound to be good, and this movie delivers and then some. Filled to the brim with memorable characters and scenes, this is one of the greatest movies from the 90's. Probably also one of the most underrated flics ever. A must see for any Tarantino fan or even any cinema lover. Christian Slater at the top of his game delivers his greatest performance ever. But pretty much everyone involved is awesome to watch.

    Top tier. Lives up to its name. It’s aged well. That a movie from 30+ years ago feels like a breath of fresh air is remarkable, but it’s probably because of it’s highly original and toxically masculine male-driven story… in a world of effeminate pander-driven spectacles, Clarence is still so cool.

    This one’s a true who’s who of the 90s. Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette are electric in their respective leads. The supporting cast is ungodly stacked. Quentin Tarantino’s tight script and Tony Scott’s apt direction help tie together this blast of a film. Oh yeah- True Romance kicks ass.

    Brilliant movie. Saw a mix of action and romance. The cast is incredible also, perhaps jot all stars at the time, but quite a lineup to look back on. The music throughout adds to the movie.

    Funny contrast of love story against hyper violent drug and gang backdrop. Surprising actors in tiny roles. Arquette is adorable and sexy.
