- Razorbitz2 dage sidenI wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone who hasn't already gone looking for it. This isnt a film I would say I enjoyed, but it left the impression of teeth on my brain. Not a film I ever want to see again, but also one I think should be seen by those who can stomach its contents. A film that leans more into arthouse than horror. Steeped in dull tones and uncomfortable silences yet aching with a sense of animalistic eroticism taken much too far. There are a few scenes that I would describe as depraved, but the film itself is not. It is in how Trouble Every Day explores the visceral and the sexual that makes it contemplative as well as appalling. It helps that its contents are wrapped in some fantastic French cinematography that makes the experience memorable, if nothing else. The story itself is lacking and the dialogue alien in delivery, so don't expect a gripping narrative. The film is so emotive that if the dialogue were removed it might actually be a stronger movie overall; it does not avoid the ecstasy nor the suffering, nor the derangement. The last twenty or so minutes are some of the most uncomfortable I've ever felt, and I don't think a single word is spoken. Gonna be thinking about this film for a while.
