Jin-hee is an unfortunate young woman who had been forced to prostitution due to her financial struggles in an unnamed city. As a poor Asian immigrant, she has no choice but to agree. She appears in a makeshift illegal brothel hidden in an apartment with many other girls. Jin-hee soon realizes the horror of her work when she notices one of the girl fall sick one day after a "session". Soon, her turn comes, and she must satisfy a customer. The customer has his way with her, and she reluctantly moves along with it. She too, falls ill like that other girl after her session. One day, Jin-hee notices the madame fighting with a customer for payment. She takes the opportunity and escapes the building, only to realize that she had nowhere to go, as she was an illegal immigrant. Against her wishes, she tearfully returns to the brothel and accepts her fate.
