Da en tornado rammer det triste Kansas, bliver den forældreløse Dorothy blæst til det farvestrålende land Oz. Hun kommer til at fornærme en ond fe, men bliver beskyttet af sine røde sko. Den gode fe råder hende til at tage til Emerald City, hvor Troldmanden måske kan hjælpe hende. På vejen bliver hun venner med et fugleskræmsel, der er dummere end vådt bølgepap, en blikmand, der ikke har noget hjerte og en løve, der mangler mod. Troldmanden beder dem, om at få fat i den onde fes kost.

    The one classic film I simply adore. Everything from the cast, production, music/scores/lyrics are all achieved beyond expectations that even today many are enthralled and mystified with this very iconic film. If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favour and do so asap. Go, right now! Then when you’re done, watch the Tom & Jerry’s takes to this which imho, the only one that did this film justice.

    If you grew up not watching this film synced to Dark Side of the Moon on LSD your doing it wrong. Life or the film you ask? Both. 8.8/10 - Standalone Film 9.9/10 - With Pink Floyd

    The Wizard Of Oz I have it on The Wizard Of Oz 70th Blu Ray Box Set The Wizard Of Oz 70th DVD Box Set The Wizard Of Oz 75th 3D Box Set From Canada The Wizard Of Oz 2 Disc DVD from 2005 and 2009 CD soundtrack from 1995 from the 1939 movie vintage recordings from the 1903 Broadway musical The Wizard Of Oz The Original 1900 Edition in full colour And Amazon Prime Video I bought it and I got to see it in the theatres at cineplex in Scarborough at 7.05 PM I loved it on the big screen and I got to see it in the theatres in Vaughan at 7.00 PM with my mom I’m going to see for the third time on August 24 2024 on my birthday with my whole family it’s will be at 11.00 AM it’s will be for a family favourites event by cineplex I just saw it with my whole family on August 24 2024 I loved it I saw the introduction from the lady from the UK I saw the extended song of if I Only had a Brain the movie was a 10 10 I can’t believe the movie will be 85 years old crazy

    An absolute classic movie. Judy Garland in her prime during a time of movie innocence. Shares with my son and he realized that the Wizard of Oz has several cultural references he’s experienced in other movies. Sharing these classics with the next generation is a privilege.

    I can’t believe it took me so long to get around to watching this. I’ve got it on 4K and the restoration is beautiful, excellent colours and everything. I can see why this is so popular, it’s not as good as what everyone else say in my opinion but still enjoyed it.
