The Void Ratings & Reviews
- drosan3 dage sidenThe Thing meets Hellraiser
- Donavin Wenger16. november 2024This movie feels like a bad acid trip. Great practical effects
- William Galan21. januar 2026Very well made practical effects, but it felts rushed after the second act and the acting feels like everyone is tired.
- Ommar14. januar 2026What in THE STRANGER THINGS is VECNA doing here?
- Johan Potgieter7. juni 2025Poole and Munroe both deliver great performances. I loved the horrible monsters in this movie. The story was thin but the horrific monsters made it worth while for me.
- Jesse1. juni 2025Super cool practical effects. The movie starts to pick up in the second act, then it dies down. Then it picks up. Then, it dies down again. Ultimately lackluster but still worth the watch for about 10 minutes of kickass effects.
- j.pete629. december 2025Recently rewatched. This movie hits all the marks for me man. I just love cosmic horror and I love the practical effects. It looks a little bit clunky in the beginning when they chop that first monster up, but after that it gets so much better. 100% Recommended if you like lovecraftian stuff.
- Jenni Pointon23. februar 2025One of my favourite Canadian movies - way to go pals
- The_Holmes21. december 2025The movie is misnamed big time. This is a very interesting piece of work. No idea where its going. Operates in a few different genres of horror/sci fi. The SFX will remind you of The Thing.
- Creepy Casey4. februar 2025Just read some of the other reviews. If you have read the same lame garbage about a movie you love. You will know this is for you. In my Creepy(worthless) opinion it's one of the best movies of the past 10 years.
- Rusticus Beardicus7. december 2025Not sure what I was expecting but it’s definitely an interesting movie. The premise is interesting enough. The movie surprisingly well made and the acting pretty good too! A movie that works well left with some open ends in case they want to revisit it one day, but also works as a one and done.
- Alyxandor30. november 2025A fantastic Lovecraftian cosmic horror! Great practical effects and monsters!
- Fenrisfil4. oktober 2025A love letter to both John Carpenter and H.P. Lovecraft. More the former really. Unlikely many movies that attempt to be "Carpenteresque" this one achieves it. If you are a John Carpenter fan, you need to watch this movie. On the other hand if you never got what the fuss was about, you probably won't care for this either.
- JaredXIII27. september 2025ONE OF THE GREATEST COSMIC HORROR FILMS OF ALL TIME!
