    First of all let never state that I have been a John Wayne fan all my life. That said this picture is tired. Good cast but the plot is thin and predictable. Wayne was getting sicker by this time and having trouble breathing. Sad.

    The Train Robbers is a Western that sticks to familiar territory—John Wayne, a beautiful woman, and a hunt for gold. It’s a solid watch for Wayne fans, but there’s nothing particularly memorable about it.
