- cultfilmliker7. februar 2026“Listen, this is not going to work out!” I don’t care if Rob Zombie says otherwise - this is his favorite film. So clearly the blueprint for The Devil’s Rejects (and lots of House of 1000 Corpses) that I am required to give it 5 stars. Also it’s very good. Love that it also has the whole “lair of Dr. Satan” vibe Seeing this in 4K fucks. Hopper so unhinged, so incredible. One of the best. Didn’t realize how phenomenal the sets were until now. Even the studio is so grungy and has such detail! Chop Top forever (even tho he’s completely inept as a killer)

Chainsaw-wielding maniac Leatherface is up to his cannibalistic ways once again, along with the rest of his twisted clan, including the equally disturbed Chop-Top (Bill Moseley). This time, the masked killer has set his sights on pretty disc jockey Vanita "Stretch" Brock, who teams up with Texas lawman Lefty Enright (Dennis Hopper) to battle the psychopath and his family deep within their lair, a macabre abandoned amusement park.
- Jordan Jones12. april 2026TCM 2 is like marmite you either love it or you hate it and unfortunately I'm on the side that hates this movie...I find it borderline unwatchable because of the whole difference in contrast & tonal shift to the 1st film. I just can't believe and get my head around how this sequel, is a total opposite to the OG film in the worst way possible. IMO this 2nd entry isn't Texas Chainsaw to me it just isn't. It's an outrageous & bizarre black comedy. And I find it very hard to believe that the same Director of the 1974 Classic Tobe Hooper directed this...to be fair he has come out and said that the 1974 masterpiece was a black comedy as well, no disrespect to the man but there isn't even a hint that TCM 1974 is a black comedy whatsoever. The 1974 film was a very disturbing, impactful, effective, scary, gritty & grimey and an out and out horror film; that ultimately stays with you long after the end credits have rolled. They ruined the character & reputation of Leatherface in this film he was terrible...also the character of Chop-Top is painfully annoying. TCM 2 to me is the Scary Movie version of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. If you look at it TCM hasn't been the same since this crazy sequel; as a result of TCM 2 the franchise has been all over the place and has had to reboot itself a number of times since. Finally my Ratings/Scores for Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 is ⭐️ & a 2/10 and I know a lot of people love this sequel and can 💯 respect that...it does have its fans but I'm not one of them, actually this is my least favourite TCM film. Sorry I'm just being honest!!!! ✌️👍

- carter288218. november 2025Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part II is a terrible sequel to the original. It perfectly destroys all the elements of the first film that I love. The film tries to be a comedy, but it falls flat for me, I didn’t even laugh, chuckle, smirk, or even smile. The characters are all uninteresting, and dumb. Especially the main character, I found her to be insufferable to be around. We get barely any kills in the film. Leatherface is done so terribly in the film. Overall this is a movie I will never understand why people like it, terrible film!!
