The plot is smart, clean, and keeps you engaged without trying too hard. Nothing flashy—just solid acting and a well-done story. Always fun to kick back and watch a movie that trusts its cast and script.

With a legendary cast including Robert De Niro, Edward Norton, and Marlon Brando, the acting alone is worth the price of admission. Norton is a chameleon as the ambitious protégé, and De Niro is effortlessly cool as the veteran safe-cracker. The plot is full of genuine twists and the method for breaking the safe is surprisingly plausible. A criminally good time from director Frank Oz.
