Ultimately the director makes you care about the characters in the end and are even rooting for the guys you may not have been in the beginning. It's worth a watch. My copy was dubbed into english (its a French movie) and the voices didn't necessarily fit the characters, at points i was feeling like i was watching a 70s kung fu flick hahaha.
