- MrTrivet25. juni 2026I have a soft spot for UFO movies. I love stories that leave you with more questions than answers and tap into the fear of something completely unknown. When this kind of film works, it can create genuine unease without ever showing too much. Unfortunately, it only took me a few minutes to snap out of the illusion this film was trying to create. The mockumentary format, the "archival footage," and the constant insistence that these events really happened make it feel as if the film is desperately trying to convince the audience instead of trusting its own story. To me, it came across as emotional manipulation rather than genuine suspense. Which is a shame, because the premise had some potential. If the filmmakers had dropped the fake-documentary gimmick and relied on atmosphere, mystery, and ambiguity, this could have been a genuinely solid sci-fi thriller. Instead, it ends up as a badly acted, chaotic mix of horror, UFO mythology, and paranormal phenomena that feels more like an old episode of Unsolved Mysteries than a compelling feature film.
- Master9. marts 2025I prefer the it to the third kind. What a disappointment. I thought an alien movie with Milla would've been great. I was deluded. I much rather get abducted for real. This movie was a total bore and didn't having any redeeming qualities. Bunch of boring interviews I couldn't hack five minutes of it.
