The Claim Jumper
Instrueret af Burton L. KingJim Rankin, a miner, builds a rough cabin for himself and his wife and goes prospecting in the neighborhood. One day just before he starts out on his day's work, he has a visitor named Doyle. Doyle goes away and comes hack when Jim leaves and questions his wife about the claim. He leaves and visits the claim and finds it valuable. He shoots Jim and starts to town to file the claim. In the meantime, the prospector's wife, suspecting Doyle, visits the claim and finds Jim wounded. She jumps a horse and in a most exciting chase beats the claim jumper to the assay office. The claim jumper is later shot by the sheriff's posse.
