Da officeren Colter Stevens vågner fra sin lur på toget mod Chicago, ser han til sin udelte forvirring en anden mands ansigt i spejlet. Otte minutter senere sprænger en bombemand toget i smadder, og vupti vender Stevens tilbage til sin egen krop i en kold betoncelle. Langsomt går det op for ham, at han er på en eksperimental mission, hvor han oplever de samme minutter om og om igen i jagten på bombemanden.

Unique and mysterious!
Gyllenhaal’s characters are always reassuring people that “everything’s going to be okay” [edit: he says it so much lol]
Some of these lasted WAY longer than 8 minutes
Would have been hilarious if he just died instantly on that last run
I hope your dad doesn’t look up who Sean is!
A LOT of potential for hilarity in this plot device
