Da officeren Colter Stevens vågner fra sin lur på toget mod Chicago, ser han til sin udelte forvirring en anden mands ansigt i spejlet. Otte minutter senere sprænger en bombemand toget i smadder, og vupti vender Stevens tilbage til sin egen krop i en kold betoncelle. Langsomt går det op for ham, at han er på en eksperimental mission, hvor han oplever de samme minutter om og om igen i jagten på bombemanden.

Such a smart, thrilling sci-fi that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Jake Gyllenhaal is great, and the time-loop idea is used in a way that’s tense, clever, and surprisingly emotional. Every repeat of the mission adds something new, so it never feels repetitive. Fast-paced, gripping, and with just the right amount of heart, it’s a movie that sticks with you long after it ends.
