Ruurdt falls between a rock and a hard place, because he has difficulty getting help and adapting to our society. He was assigned a houseboat, but now he is in danger of losing that too. Ruurdt wants to be in control of his own life. Despite attempts by various agencies, he is unable to find a solution to his situation. The problems he causes are seemingly harmless, but because of his uninhibited behavior, it is still perceived as a nuisance. The question arises; can Ruurdt be helped?
