I have to mention the scene where a character explains the concepts of Ronins, and Robert just completely undermines it and practically says it’s stupid.
- synthete20. april 2026A film with a merely serviceable script from 1998 is leagues better than most films made today simply by virtue of the fact that it isn't as leaky as a pasta strainer, with possibly the single best car chase in all of cinema, and you'll never be bored if that's the only reason you watch it. There are flashier chase sequences, but they don't grip you and make you feel like you're in the scene, white-knuckling and barely avoiding catastrophic crashes in a real city. Also, check out the music video someone on YT made for this film and the song by Lifelike — Motion. The one that's 6:40 is the re-upload of the original.
