Before being called Romanès, Alexandre was known as Bouglione. One day, he slammed the door on the family circus: "too big, too many tents, too many trucks, it was more humane." With her, he had five children, including four daughters, whom he taught acrobatics, contortion, and juggling, and he started a small circus, which he named Romanès, a gypsy circus. This family, led by a poet, this clan of traveling acrobats and musicians, is determined to preserve what matters most to them: the right to be nomadic and free.
