That casting gives the film a lived-in feel; we know these types before they speak a word. There’s nothing groundbreaking here—it’s a classic Western setup with a shootout at the end and the good guys coming out on top—but it’s executed with such confidence and charm, it doesn’t need to surprise to satisfy.
