The supporting performances, from Jeremy Davies, and Steve Zahn were award worthy. What elevates the film to a masterpiece is how Herzog films each scene: the jungle isn’t just a backdrop it’s a living, breathing entity that’s both beautiful and merciless....... Fascinating story on resilience. I've heard Herzog's Biography "Little Dieter Needs to Fly" is better but haven't gotten around to watching it.
