- jackmeat7. december 2025My quick rating - 3.0/10. "A prospector in the year 2047 must rescue a girl enslaved by a mutant race of gold-injecting vampires." That caught my attention for potential amusement. It is a prime example of how a catchy tagline can be used to deceive people into watching a terrible movie. And the initial monster I saw was amusing, although budget constraints aren't always funny. The monsters were not scary at all, and looked more like something from an elementary school play. The movie was marketed as a horror flick about vampires injecting gold into their victims, but it turned out to be a low-budget sci-fi movie with terrible acting and special effects. Jared Masters takes on all hands in this one, which isn't a good thing, especially on the acting side of things. Although his poor acting fits in with the rest of the crew, I shouldn't be surprised. The story was predictable and lacked any real depth or intrigue. The characters were poorly developed and lacked any kind of emotion or relatability. The acting was horrendous, especially from the lead actor, Jared Masters, who also directed the movie. His performance was wooden and lacked any kind of nuance, which made it difficult to connect with his character. Seems the whole thing may have been more of a trick by Masters to see how many chicks he could get to come dance topless in front of him in the promise of being a star. When in reality this flick was a huge disappointment, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Save your time and money and skip this one.
