Vincent og Jules er håndlangere for gangsterbossen Marcellus Wallace. Deres job består hovedsageligt i at ordne folk, som har brudt deres aftaler med Wallace, og skrabe hans penge ind. Men på deres færden rundt i L.A. støder de på flere uforudsete begivenheder. De oplever Guds indgriben, et splattet lig i deres bil og at blive røvet af et tyvepar, vi kun kender under navnene Pumpkin og Honey Bunny. Ved siden af skal Vincent tage Wallace’ kone Mia ud på en tur i byen, hvilket viser sig ikke at være en helt simpel opgave. Senere støder de to lejemordere også på Butch Coolidge, en bokser, der, i en fixet boksekamp, kommer til at træde deres chef Wallace over tæerne. Dermed er Coolidge på spanden, men alt kan ske - og gør det! Som et puslespil fortælles to heftige dages begivenheder, og først til sidst falder alle brikkerne på plads og afslutter Pulp Fictions mange handlingstråde.

- tellum11. marts 2026Everyone has always liked this way more than me. Not a bad movie at all, but 2 of the main stories are way better than the third. The entire Bruce arc is just boring until it becomes so ridiculously insane that I can’t take it seriously. Sam Jackson and John Travolta together make the whole movie for me.

- ርልዪረ8. februar 2025The most important film of the 1990s. I say that because of the impact it had at the time and the endless volume of clones it generated and the lasting legacy it's had. People were quite literally saying "you can do that in a movie?!". Quentin basically birthed an entirely new sub-genre of film. He popularized the non-linear story telling style that is so common nowadays and really was the one who started the trend of characters talking about everyday nonsense things not related to the plot etc. The film focuses on the intertwining timelines/stories of several characters: two hitmen, a boxer, a mob boss and his wife and two lovers holding up a diner. In a truly genius way, all these stories perfectly weave together in non-linear fashion. Tarantino stuffs the film with endless pop culture references, surf music and graphic violence that is paired with some of the best dialogue committed to screen. They're a truly likeable bunch despite being murderers, drug dealers and generally bad guys by trade. It can not really be understated how this film impacted the world of film making and audiences at the time. It is a definitive masterpiece of the 1990s and will likely be appreciated for many years to come for how ground breaking it was. It also basically cemented Tarantino as one of the greats.

- NordicReelReviews16. februar 2026Personally, I've never been a fan of Quentin-style movies. I tried watching this over and over to understand the appeal. I categorize this one as proof that just because you cast big actors doesn't make it more watchable. It takes more than great actors to make it a good movie. The camera bouncing up and down at times makes it feel like a low-budget movie (it is), but by no means does it make it revolutionary. As the saying goes, it takes all kinds of people in the world. It's not my taste. However, it evidently might be yours.
