"Kleine Bremer Höhe" is the oldest community housing project in Berlin. In the quiet courtyard with the Linden trees off busy Torstraße, time seems to have stopped. Most of the 86 apartments are empty. It's a refuge for artists, punks and elderly people, until the impending sale of the houses goes through. One of them, Matthias Lintner, follows the events and the everyday life around the square over several years with his camera. He compiled a poetic film essay that deals with gentrification on an emotional and philosophical level, a swansong for a house and its community.
