Steve Guttunberg and Kim Cattrall lead a Cast of fun Characters in the original, bawdy farce. With low brow College humour played to perfection the story of a group of misfits who join the Police Force is a riotous comedy that unlike many of its sequel's is as fresh today as on its original Cinematic release in 1984. With it's wonderful original Cast, quirky Characters and outrageous situations few 80's comedies hit the mark like the original "Police Academy". It's simply great fun. Arrest me if it isn't.

- Yhoozername14. oktober 2024I might be partial because I watched this a bunch growing up, but it's a solid 80's boob comedy. The extra half-star is for Kim Cattrall.

What it lacks in plot complexity, it makes up for in spirit — a cheeky, good-natured salute to the men and women in blue. It’s broad, brisk and brimming with goofy camaraderie, making it a fun watch even decades later.
