Ironic bc I’m pretty sure I would absolutely fucking love going back to school and hanging with friends Absolutely incredible ensemble. I cherish so many people in this film. I do think Mikey Day would have played that lead nerd exquisitely tho. Literally feels written for him. Wait, is that the point. That Mikey Day’s humor is grating af? lmao (I’m a fan ftr but I get it) Second time Carmen’s had a co-star’s character be a female teacher who is risqué with her students, although I will admit this one is a bit more overt Throw Everything At The Wall And Some Of It Will Stick: The Movie The ultimate nightmare everyone experiences made into a slapstick comedy! Not bad! I think they’re trying to recapture the perfect absurdity of Wet Hot American Summer (or They Came Together), even Not Another Teen Movie. Valiant attempt! The main couples’ (John Reynolds and Sofia Black-D’Elia) stories were the least interesting unfortunately [imo at least] There’s a lot of bits going on. Might be appropriate for a rewatch Currently Ranked #59/100 in 2026 Ranked
