Jagged Little Pill, Sonic Youth - Goo back-to-back-to-back references had me fucked up. My mom nudged me and said, “Jagged Little Dyl!” (my Snapchat @ ) when Jagged Little Pill was mentioned. It was cute. Ultimately however she was not a big fan of the film lol Catholics are such prudes Rock musicians having delusions of grandeur is always a recipe for comedic success (not even joking) Needed more Alanis Morissette material Watched at Warren Regal 21 with my mother Currently Ranked #21/51 in 2026 Ranked

Peak 2011 Tumblr era — Tom’s bangs, obnoxious necklaces, big black glasses. I felt like I was watching my past self on screen. Barbie Ferreira plays Grace with such truth and earned growth. The concert scenes felt visceral and alive, and the Alanis Morissette soundtrack was perfect. It tackles female oppression in male-dominated spaces — specifically music journalism — in a way that still feels relevant today. The band love triangle took the cake, I fell for Archie instantly, and I hated Chevy in exactly the right way. This is a story about a girl finding her way in a world that keeps trying to shut her out — and Chandler Levack nailed it. Four stars. Already one of my favourite films of the year.
