- russrev1ews20. februar 2026It might be because I’m a newer dad, but this movie was deeply affecting. I found myself cheesing and frowning through the ups and downs of the father/daughter dynamics. A really fair portrayal of OCD as well. I wish Alison Lohman would come out of retirement, because she is such a magnetic force on screen. Held her own with the legend Nic Cage. Ridley Scott, for all his action acumen is a phenomenal melodramatic storyteller. I highly recommend this film!
- Scott and Sharon26. august 2025One of my Favorite Nick Cave films. Tho you kinda already know what’s going to happen halfway thru the relationship between the father and estranged daughter. Still it’s a decent watch. Plus I always love a good Ridley Scott film.

- carlijustice30. november 2025I love movies with a twist, and this was a good one. An older movie, but it has aged well. Great cast. Good storyline. Definitely worth watching. This is not a really family friendly movie though. This would probably make a good movie for a date night.
