- Jordan Greenhut3. august 2025I don't understand the love for this series. The only message you can take from these films is "treat all animals well and respect their autonomy." That's a great message, but these films really don't offer anything else. In addition to being almost devoid of meaning, I was absolutely repulsed by the monarchy type leadership of the group. The fact that the kid is assumed to be the next ruler of the group because his father died is stupid. I don't care what his stupid kidself accomplished in the past, there are definitely more suitable leaders in his tribe or whatever. If there aren't more suitable leaders, then that's stupid also. Why would an entire tribe of people be so incompetent then? Maybe I just don't like the kids movie genre, but there have been kids films I enjoy. This series is just consistent garbage and I loathe the day my wife wants to watch train your dragon 5 or whatever.
