Now the two are surprisingly returning to their home in Nordheide on motorbikes. Harry has a serious reason for this. But Elisabeth doesn't realize that, his presence confuses her too much. The same goes for Fred Schmidt, who was a member of the circle of friends at the time. As a retiree, he volunteers in the monastery and has always been a close confidante of Elisabeth. During their youth together, he was Harry and Elly's "postillon d'amour". The fact that he played fate in a momentous way is his secret, the discovery of which he now fears. But inevitably, Harry and Elisabeth reveal the true background of their traumatic and mysterious separation. Suddenly not only the old events are alive again, but also the old feelings. And that is not without consequences - especially for Elisabeth, whose whereabouts in the evangelical community is suddenly in question.
