Da en trofast politihund og hans betjent-menneske kommer til skade på jobbet, bliver de to sat sammen ved et kirurgisk indgreb, og Hundemand er født. Hundemand går straks i gang med at fange forbrydere - og hente ting, give pote og rulle rundt. Hundemand skal både vænne sig til sin nye identitet og imponere sin chef, samtidig med at han forsøger at stoppe katte-superskurken Pjevs’ ret onde planer. Pjevs kloner nemlig sig selv og skaber killingen Lille Pjevs, så han kan lave dobbelt så mange forbrydelser. Alt går dog ikke efter planen, da Lille Pjevs uventet knytter sig til Hundemand. Men da Lille Pjevs falder i kløerne på Hundemand og Pjevs’ fælles fjende, er der ikke andet at gøre end at slå sig sammen.

- mrbeefybites15. marts 2026Great kid movie! If your child loves the Dog Man books, they will love the movie. If your kid has never read the books, but liked the movie, go buy them a book or two! For the parents out there, I also found this an enjoyable watch with my kid!
- [ e c k o b a s e ]8. april 2025Going in not knowing the Books, you can tell this is based on some pre existing history. Which doesn't take look to get up to speed with the characters. Very funny puns throughout the film! A great character arc for the main villain, I actually developed some tears. It's good when you find a Kids film that's not only funny but deep as well. Well worth a look of you're a fan or Good Pixar and Animated Films!

A movie adaptation based on one of my favorite books coming out on the day after my 13th birthday but since I saw an early screening I saw it on my 13th birthday. And I absolutely loved it. The animation was absolutely stellar, the story was perfect, the voice acting was amazing, I laughed at so many of the jokes, this is my favorite movie of all time.
