Maried singer Hans Weigel who loves to have little amorous affair with other women has fallen for a mysterious lady who is visiting every two days his performance as Eisenstein in the operetta "Die Fledermaus". Shortly before he has his date with the mysterious lady which in fact is is wife who is going to give him a lesson for his amorous life, he falls asleep. In his dream he gets mixed up the his role as Eisenstein and his real life.
