- DavChar30. september 2025This is billed as an action comedy, and while there are some very funny moments, it is also a scathing indictment of our messed up healthcare system. It is also pretty accurate about the handling of mental patients. At times frustrating to watch, but I strongly recommend it.
- Adam H4. april 2026Code 3 probably hits harder if you can directly empathise with the flaming insurance paperwork bonfire that is the US healthcare system, but even from a safer distance it still works as an enjoyable ride-along. It’s messy, fast-moving, and cynical in that “everyone is exhausted and the system is held together with tape and trauma” kind of way, but there’s enough humour and human damage in the mix to keep it from feeling like a lecture. Not life-changing, but solid, grimly funny, and worth the trip..
