Spøgelsesdoktoren James Harvey og hans datter Kat ankommer til det gamle hjemsøgte slot Whipstaff Manor. Den griske ejer Carrigan Crittendon, har hyret Dr Harvey til at fordrive slottes usynlige beboere: et venligt men ensomt spøgelse, Casper, hvis eneste ønske er at få en ven, og hans skandaløse onkler Stretch, Stinkie og Fatso (“Spøgelsestrioen”). Hvis planen lykkes, vil Carrigan og Dibs kunne få fingre i slottets sagnomspundne skat. I mellemtiden bliver Casper og Kat gode venner, men Spøgelsestrioen accepterer ikke “kød og blod” i deres hus…

- ርልዪረ23. marts 2025Really good watch, will watch again, and can recommend. Look, its a "stupid kids" movie, but it lovably stupid, and legitimately funny. Plus its super dark for kids: it has a nice balance where its targeting adults that were into Casper when they were kids, hoping the parents will pass on the love to their kids. This has a great cast, to include a young Christina Ricci (by far the best actor in this). Not everyone, even the quality actors give a perfect performance, but they meet the design, goofy characters from a comic. I've watched this movie so many times, and I've never been disappointed by it.
