Hvor man kan se Den brudte lanse
- Mister Arn5. oktober 2026“Broken Lance” is a family drama turned into a Western, with CinemaScope photography that makes good use of the wide landscapes and big scenes. It’s a familiar approach, giving a story about family conflict a Western framework, and there’s plenty here to enjoy. At its heart is a man who has built an empire, refuses to give up control, and rides roughshod over the people around him. The damage he does to those relationships drives the story, with prejudice adding another layer of conflict. Spencer Tracy delivers a strong performance, but anyone expecting a conventional Western action-adventure will find something different.
- eif99924. januar 2025More strikes against than for this one. Robert Wagner as the blue-eyed half breed isn’t just brownface it’s a guy I don’t like in westerns. The great widescreen vistas and Tracy are amazing. Remake of House of Strangers with EG Robinson in the Tracy role. A noir that does nothing for me.
