A slum lord is evicting a client for not paying rent for a practically condemned home. While the tenant is jobless, a recovering addict, and prone to depression, he has stopped paying rent in protest because the landlord refuses to fix a unit in the house. The tenant is also concerned for his asthmatic daughter who lives with him. In order to quicken the process of eviction, the landlord sends his company attorney. Does the tenant lose the roof over his head or fight to remain while his asthmatic daughter's health declines from his living situation?
