- WillsHimself24. maj 2026I’ve watched Better Man easily four times now, and I absolutely love it every single time. As a fan of that era of music, this movie hits all the right notes for me. I know it deviates from the strict real-life timeline and compresses a massive career into two and a half hours, but I honestly don't care how historically accurate or inaccurate it is. At his core, Robbie Williams is a pure entertainer, and this film captures that perfectly. I understand the creative choice of portraying him as an ape to represent how he sees himself as completely "unevolved," though part of me wishes we actually got to see the real man on screen at some point. Despite that, the music is absolutely fantastic, the vocal performance is amazing, and it delivers exactly what it promises: pure, fantastic entertainment.

- stuhannaford21. maj 2025Chronologically all over the shop. Jumpy, skipping over the parts of a life you’re expecting to re-witness. Hiding away from the Robbie we know from stage and screen… but that’s the point. Instead, we get a blunt look at Robert, the singing, dancing monkey. It’s by no means perfect, but it’s not meant to be. It’s about a cheeky monkey who struggled to find meaning once fame took hold, and failed to fulfil his hopes. The moments important to fans are skimmed and glossed over, straight to the times of unseen heartache that enveloped someone trying to navigate the world under constant scrutiny, often his own. A messy look through a lens, at times grimy, but most certainly honest. Entertained.

Again, no idea who Robbie Williams was, if this was just a normal biography, never would of watched it. but I'm simple, Ill watch the monkey man movie. Just like lego pharell.
