Rather than relying on nonstop action, it builds its tension through an increasingly disturbing central mystery and the eerie question of what happens when humanity's individuality begins to disappear. The concept is genuinely fascinating, and the show knows how to make ordinary situations feel deeply wrong. Its slow-burn approach allows the mystery to develop naturally, while the performances give the strange premise an emotional center. It isn't afraid to be weird, uncomfortable, or patient, and that makes the payoff considerably more effective. Some episodes move slower than others, but the atmosphere and mystery are strong enough to keep things compelling. 5/5 — Smart, unsettling science fiction with an excellent premise, strong performances, and a mystery that keeps you wanting more.

- As the series goes on, my rating keeps dropping little by little. It had an outstanding start and created one of the most intriguing mysteries I’ve seen in years. But maintaining that level is just as important as making a great first impression. My biggest concern is that the story may be stretched simply because it’s successful. Mystery doesn’t become better by endlessly piling up unanswered questions; it becomes memorable when those questions are answered in a satisfying and well-timed way. I sincerely hope the creators don’t sacrifice this series for profit. Every great story deserves an ending that comes at the right time—not after it has outlived its purpose. Otherwise, it risks becoming yet another brilliant show that eventually collapsed under the weight of its own mystery. A masterpiece knows not only how to begin, but also when to end.
