Actor, voice artist and producer Richard Allen, also known as Shango Amin had a career that included over 20 years on series such as Star Trek the Next Generation (as Darmak, the Tamarian first officer), Treme and One Life To Live, as well as theatre which included Grey Gardens, Ragtime, and Play On! He also put his resonant voice to good use through extensive voice-over work.
