- Patrick D.16. srpna 2026I've never read the book, but this movie wasn't "scary" at all when it definitely should have been. It wasn't for lack of scary imagery or atmosphere. The music just never stopped the entire movie. It never let the atmosphere breathe a little. Let the audience sit in silence with the characters every now and then. Not only that but the music didn't match the mood of the scene at times. It was kind of bizarre. The music wasn't even bad, it was just terribly edited and kind of didn't fit the genre imo. That was really the Achilles heel of this film. Took it down a whole star or so for me because the horror aspect was being undermined the whole time. Enough about the music though. The acting was great. For child actors, they all were impressive. A lot of times child actors kind of suck or are just ok. The dialogue was actually kind of realistic at times. Like that's how middle school boys talk to each other. Other times it was laid on a little thick. Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise was awesome. You can definitely see where Stranger Things got its inspiration from. Overall a good movie. Also, it has a comically evil 80s bully so what more could you ask for? This was really a good film that should have been great.

- Ajay31. ledna 2026This is absolutely PEAK horror, and I love Andy Muschietti and Bill Skarsgard for < YOU'LL FLOAT TOO > bringing a prevalent fear installed into the public by Stephen King to life in unimaginably terrifying ways. Skarsgard as Pennywise < YOU'LL FLOAT TOO > is a multi-award winning performance, and the controlled use of CGI makes every single appearance of the demented demon-clown insanely < YOU'LL FLOAT TOO > horrific (without going over the top). The pacing of the film does take a bit to kick off, and some of the characters could've been cast better. But don't let that take away from watching this, as you're probably going to < YOU'LL FLOAT TOO > rewatch it multiple times for the scares.
