Years after a nuclear apocalypse devastates America, a violent raid by bandits on an underground fallout shelter forces one of its residents to set out into a barren wasteland filled with radiation, mutated monsters, and a lawless society of those who remained on the surface.

Fallout Ratings & Reviews
- Aaron SavageNovember 5, 2025Easily one of the best video game adaptations of all time. Sure TLOU was pretty loyal to the games, but everyone hated the 2nd game and season. Here's hoping they don't mess up New Vegas and its story.
- RipLinesManApril 8, 2025Event Horizon (1997) showed us hell in space, but Fallout brings it home—vaults instead of ships, ghouls instead of demons, and a wasteland where morality decays faster than irradiated meat. Lucy clings to optimism like Captain Miller to his sanity, The Ghoul drifts through trauma like Dr. Weir with a revolver, and for cabbage lovers? There’s still hope… if you don’t mind it glowing in the dark.
- CallumOctober 27, 2025⭐⭐⭐⭐½ (out of 5) Fallout – War never changes, but great adaptations finally do. “Fallout” takes one of gaming’s most beloved post-apocalyptic worlds and brings it roaring to life with style, grit, and just the right amount of absurdity. While it doesn’t follow the games beat-for-beat — and wisely so — it perfectly captures the spirit of the Fallout universe: dark humour, retro-futurism, moral decay, and the occasional mutant with more personality than sense. Ella Purnell delivers what many consider her breakout performance, embodying both the optimism and trauma of surviving in a world where civilisation has been nuked back to barter. Her portrayal brings heart to a setting built on ruin, standing out even amidst the chaos of vault dwellers, raiders, and irradiated wastelands. The show walks a fine line between faithful adaptation and creative freedom. It’s not about replicating the lonely single-player experience of the games; it’s about expanding the world — showing what the Fallout ethos looks like when you add multiple perspectives and a dash of cinematic polish. With razor-sharp writing, impressive production design, and a wicked sense of irony, Fallout doesn’t just adapt the game — it evolves it. It’s funny, bleak, stylish, and surprisingly thoughtful. War never changes… but TV adaptations apparently can, and this one’s a rare wasteland treasure.

- Scott SmithOctober 22, 2025As someone who played the various Fallout video games over the years and have loved them, I really enjoy this series (and have already watched it all a few times). It's easily the best on-screen adaptation of a video game into a live action movie or series. Walton Goggins and Ella Purnell are GREAT in their roles! I'm already looking forward to season 2, which is currently being filmed. So many cool easter eggs for fans of the games, and really well acted with good special effects. I give it a Fallout Bobblehead thumbs up!
- Agent _TEGOctober 12, 2025War... War never changes...
- Spencer MBSeptember 15, 2025*This isn't an adaptation of the "Fallout" games, it's an extension. This is set after "Fallout 4" and is meant to lead us into "Fallout 5." While I do agree with most about the quality of this show, the only downside is the Brotherhood of Steel. Basically, everything about them is either unfaithful to the games or every character attached to them just sucks. When I say "sucks," I mean that nearly every BoS-affiliated character is written to be an annoying, arrogant 12-year old that distracts from the best parts of this series: Ella Purnell & Walton Goggins. Every time Maximus came on screen, I knew he'd do/say something completely braindead stupid that didn't even match the tone of "Fallout 76," at the very least. If you have played FO1-4, you'd know that the BoS aren't like what they portray here, but at the same time, maybe that is just what this branch is like. I hope that Season 2 is better because this season had some very strong bones. There needs to be more mutants. There's no way it could be as bad as "The Last of Us - Season 2" though, eesh. Oh and watch "Nuka Break," that's a solid fan-film series that extends from "New Vegas."
- VinniesaurSeptember 15, 2025As an OG Fallout fan, this show is very fun and enjoyable. I am glad they didn't ruin it like The Last Airbender. Can't wait for the next season as it takes place in my favorite game.
- P. LoganFebruary 24, 2025They said a good video game adaption couldn't be done. Fallout proved them wrong. Somehow, they managed to retain the aesthetic and tone of the series, and translate it to the small screen. The humor, the characters, the environments and props, all excellent. Truly a 5/5 show that all Fallout fans should see.
- Karine RuestMarch 1, 2025Beautiful i can not wait for the next season thank you
- Das_LamaJuly 4, 2025Disclaimer: I never played the game. This show is good. They must have spent some serious money on the 1950s stuff!
- Typical NerdJune 26, 2025Fallout was quite a good show, started off quite slow but things eventually ramped up and got interesting.
- Vincent ReggianniniApril 30, 2025Almost the perfect quirky, intriguing and mesmerizing sci-fi shows to date, with endless potential moving forward. The series is great for fans of the game and sci-fi fans in general
- Rowan KrzysiakFebruary 12, 2025Bits of it felt like they were falling apart in the last episode or two but generally it was a cut above and pretty enjoyable all round.
- GnomeSliceMarch 8, 2025Strong characters with a lot of backstory, a solid mystery to unravel in season 1, and excellent worldbuilding. Can't wait for more!
- jwalkinFebruary 24, 2025Best television series adapted from a video game to date.
- Hendrik PapeFebruary 22, 2025One of the best new series in recent memory.
- AngusMcNutzDecember 13, 2024Slow to get going on anything substantial but it does eventually get there. Setup a lot for Season 2 so hopefully they knock it down just as swiftly
- Daniel GustavssonOctober 11, 2024I have just seen the first episode, and that is enough. This was awful. The acting, the story, the scenery. It also feels nothing like the games in it's "atmosphere", even with all its forced references. But probably worst of all: it was boring. One of the worst pilots I've ever seen. Steer clear of this one if you have any standard, even if you don't care about the games.
