Batman Ratings & Reviews
- RazorbitzNovember 29, 2025A film I've adored as a child and liked a lot as an adult. Not my favorite as it used to be as a child; that would be the sequel, but all the same a classic that I'm glad to have revisited even if it didn't live up to my memory. Jack Nicholson as the Joker is unparralelled and I wish we got more of him in that role.
- ርልዪረJanuary 24, 2025I'm a fan of Tim Burton. Like the great Terry Gilliam, he is a great visual director. I love Tim Burtons Gotham City and to have the legend that is Jack Nicholson as the Joker is just hilarious and perfect. Also, the late great Prince wrote some songs for the film. The colours are much more brighter and vibrant in Blu-ray and Gotham looks amazing. Love it.
- Joshua LeachOctober 16, 2025Michael Keaton may not be the most dynamic Batman but he is enjoyable overall, Jack Nicholson really makes this movie his joker stands out. Overall solid watch
- JameslikesmoviesJuly 24, 2025I loved this movie since I was a kid love all of the performances but I might just be biased because I am Micheal Keaton’s biggest fan
- AngusMcNutzDecember 13, 2024Nostalgia usually doesn’t hit for me but, man, I feel like a kid again every time I watch this. Plenty wrong with it technically but its got such a pure energy that it wins on that alone.
- JozzMay 14, 2025I am Batman
- Richard ThorntonJuly 22, 2025Doesn’t quite hold up to today’s modern superhero films but credit due to Tim Burton for turning Batman (and the entire genre itself) from a joke into the thing Hollywood now depends on to survive.
- mickerdooJune 23, 2025Some memorable scenes but overall it drags for what should be an exciting subject. Burton gave some questionable directions on acting.
- Vincent ReggianniniMay 24, 2025At one time a blockbuster success, but over the years proved nothing more than Tim Burton’s version of a character we have all grown up with. Far from Adam West’s campy, toungue-in-cheek TV show this Batman is dark, foreboding and mysterious. Jack Nicholson eats the scenery is his iconic role. Kim Bassinger is little more than a screaming, fainting femme fatale’ who eats away at your nerves for most of the film. Michael Keaton was a controversial choice but his version of the Caped Crusader has etched out its own legacy as the decades have passed.
- FuncoflixApril 20, 2025Best Batman!
- gosso85December 8, 2024Best Batman imo!
