I’ve seen a million clips of this movie but I have never taken the time to sit down and watch it. Boy, was I missing out. I loved this. It was fun and I absolutely love Heath Ledger so that helped for sure. The ending did feel a tinyyyy bit rushed but that is my singular complaint. They 100% should have kept the original ending from the book. This wasn’t good at all. The only reason it’s not rated lower is because it was so bad that it was funny. We were just laughing in the theater. The graphics weren’t amazing. The acting wasn’t wonderful. Did I have a good time? This case has never sat right with me. I of course have my own theories but JP is an evil, crazy man in my opinion. I could not imagine ever being married to someone like that. I did like how the documentary focused a lot of Mica herself. We saw a lot of pictures and videos and you could tell that she was such a sweet woman. This was so fun! Was it the most realistic movie in the world? No! But honestly it was one that you can ignore that with. I just sat back and had a good time. It was funny and had some high stake situations that had your heart racing. I do wish that I would’ve watched it closer to Christmas but still really liked it.Carry-On - The Whisper Man
Ugh I’m so disappointed. The book was pretty good and they completely fumbled the bag with the movie. Every plot twist that we found out at the end of the book, they just made a known fact 10 minutes into the movie. The only good thing I can say is that it was funny at times. This could’ve been a spooky, heart racing movie but it was such a disappointment.The Whisper Man
