The young chief son Yao is expelled from his tribe after the death of his father. The scheming Zakoro becomes the new head of the tribe. Yao's girlfriend Elloa also turns away from him. Left on his own, Yao wanders through the African jungle, experiences exciting adventures and finally gets to know the daughter of a powerful king, whom he marries after various tests.
