- DavidBunnyDad2025年12月23日Guess I'm the only one who finds this a complete misfire. Seems like Vince Gilligan fell in love with a premise and never figured out what to do with it; either that or it's the slowest of all slow burns, because long stretches of season 1 are just plain boring. The premise itself isn't all that interesting, a large number scenes make no sense even within the sci-fi parameters that have been established -- and perhaps most critically, unlike Gilligan's other two shows, the protagonist of Pluribas is not someone you want to spend any time with. We rooted for Walter and Saul even when we knew we shouldn't, but it's impossible to root for Carol. She's an unmitigated jerk. I like the underpinning theme of fear of AI, but the plotting and characterization just aren't doing it for me.
