It was British, bawdy and full of innuendo. As a teen, I didn’t catch every joke, but I knew it wasn’t Sesamstraat. The canned laughter, the wallpaper, the fashion, it’s a time capsule of '70s Britain. And it spun off George and Mildred, which somehow got even funnier.
