Sergey Rashidov is a successful young surgeon. He has an established, happy life. But everything changes dramatically when the special forces of the Drug Control Agency under the President of Tajikistan break into his apartment. Rashidov is being detained on drug trafficking charges. His wife Marina turns to Colonel Aziz for help, unaware that he is involved in criminal business. In the cell, Rashidov meets the terrorist Akhat and becomes an unwitting participant in his escape from custody, but he cannot return home. The only way out is to flee to another country and live under someone else's documents. So, the doctor Sergey Rashidov from Dushanbe becomes a simple Moscow janitor Dzhura. During the morning cleaning of the territory, Dzhura finds a wounded bandit named Konrad. Filled with medical duty, Rashidov provides him with first aid, and then secretly treats him in his janitor's room. Major Alyoshin, an employee of the homicide department, finds out about the shooting, and Konrad's competitor, the leader of the criminal gang, the owner of the Siciliano nightclub, nicknamed Laki, finds out where Konrad himself is. Fearing revenge, Laki decides to blow up a competitor's car and punish the doctor who helped Konrad.
