⭐⭐⭐⭐ (out of 5) Don’t Come Home – Secrets, spirits, and the uneasy pull of the past. “Don’t Come Home” is a Thai supernatural drama that balances emotional storytelling with creeping dread. It follows a mother and her child as they move into her childhood home — a place thick with memories, whispers, and unanswered questions. At first, the haunting feels paranormal, but as the story unfolds, you start to wonder whether the real horror is something far more human. The pacing is slow and deliberate, letting atmosphere do most of the heavy lifting. What begins as a ghost story becomes a tale of guilt, secrets, and family history, where the line between the living and the dead blurs beautifully. The cinematography carries that distinct Thai aesthetic — moody, intimate, and just unsettling enough to make you lean forward. When the child vanishes, the tone shifts from uneasy to urgent, as the mother, police, and estranged father peel back the layers of a darker backstory. There’s a twist that eventually becomes obvious, but that doesn’t lessen its impact — it’s still delivered with satisfying emotional weight. It’s a show that understands how quiet horror can be louder than jump scares, and that sometimes, the scariest place to return to is home.
