The series follows Charles Rowland and Edwin Paine, two young detectives who have decided to forego the afterlife in favor of staying on Earth to investigate crimes involving supernatural and occasional horror elements. The characters of Charles (Jayden Revri) and Edwin (George Rexstrew) are well-developed and endearing, each bringing their own quirks and charm to the show.
