Danger Mouse is a British children's animated television series based on the 1981 series of the same name. The series is produced by FremantleMedia and premiered 28 September 2015 on CBBC. The series revolves around the capers of Danger Mouse, a British spy, and his hamster sidekick, Penfold.

Penfold is delighted by the prospect of a starring role, but Danger Mouse struggles to hide his disdain for singing, even though by agreeing to take part in the fantasy re-enactment he might just stop Dawn melting the North Pole and flooding the world. Whilst the world starts to get a bit soggy, DM has to rely on Penfold and Professor Squawkencluck's encyclopaedic knowledge of Melted in order to keep up with Dawn and her efforts to dramatise every plot point.
